About alloClae

alloClae is an ideal solution for patients who have reached their goal weight but desire more definition, or for those lacking sufficient donor fat for traditional fat grafting.

It is highly versatile and can optimize support and structure in various areas. In body contouring applications, alloClae is ideal for smoothing hip dips and providing a natural lift to the buttocks, creating a more harmonious silhouette. Additionally, for patients seeking genital rejuvenation, this treatment offers a minimally invasive way to restore volume and improve tissue health with lasting results. Dr. Bachelor customizes each application to the patient’s specific anatomy, ensuring the most refined and natural-looking outcome possible.

The Science of Natural Regeneration

By leveraging extracellular matrix proteins, alloClae provides instantaneous volume while stimulating long-term tissue regeneration. (1) This advanced treatment reinforces the skin and underlying tissues, effectively restoring more youthful contours wherever it is administered.

Unlike synthetic fillers, alloClae’s minimally processed fat cells and a preserved extracellular matrix act as a scaffold. After injection, it supports your body’s natural restorative process, promoting the formation of new fat tissue and collagen cells over time. Because it uses purified donor fat stripped of DNA, the risk of adverse reactions is minimized. (2)

Benefits

alloClae offers a sophisticated option for individuals wanting to enhance their body shape with minimal recovery time and durable, instant outcomes. This innovative treatment provides several key advantages, such as:

  • An immediate boost to body volume and shape.
  • Ability to avoid conventional fillers.
  • Incorporating smoothly into your existing cellular structure.
  • Lasting, often permanent, aesthetic changes.
  • Rigorous purification to reduce potential side effects.
  • Adaptability for use in numerous regions, such as the hips, buttocks, and breasts, as well as for addressing hip dips and cellulite.

Candidates

Good candidates for alloClae are generally healthy individuals who maintain a stable weight and are non-smokers (or willing to quit). This treatment is often ideal for patients who lack enough donor fat for conventional grafting techniques but desire a minimally invasive method to enhance their body contours. Successful outcomes rely on patients having a clear understanding of the procedure and realistic aesthetic goals.

Preparation

Dr. Bachelor will provide you with key preparation instructions during your consultation. Some general guidelines include:

  • Refrain from smoking and consuming alcohol.
  • Drink ample amounts of water to stay hydrated.
  • Eat nutrient-rich meals to support your immune system.
  • Suspend use of blood-thinning medications or supplements.
  • Get plenty of rest.

Procedure

Your alloClae treatment session will occur in our Pleasanton Surgery Center and, depending on the treatment area, will last approximately 60-90 minutes. Dr. Bachelor and a registered nurse will cleanse the area and numb it using a local anesthetic. Using a precise map of injection sites, they will carefully administer alloClae beneath the skin using a cannula to minimize tissue trauma. They will ensure symmetrical distribution and natural-looking proportions. After they administer the optimal volume and achieve your aesthetic goals, you will briefly rest before returning home.

Recovery

To support your healing after receiving alloClae, please adhere to the following post-treatment guidelines:

  • For the initial 48 hours, protect treated regions from direct sunlight, UV exposure, and significant temperature fluctuations.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and do not soak or submerge the injection sites in water for at least two days.
  • Refrain from massaging the area or applying firm pressure to the treated tissues for roughly one week.

It is normal to experience some localized bruising, minor swelling, or sensitivity for several days following the procedure. Ensure you follow all specific advice regarding dressings, and reach out to our team if you have any concerns.

Results

Patients enjoy a combination of immediate volume and gradual enhancement as the alloClae scaffold supports collagen production and tissue remodeling. This results in a natural feel and long-lasting contours that can provide youthful shape for several years.

Combining alloClae with Renuvion

Many patients choose to enrich their alloClae results with corresponding treatments to achieve a more comprehensive aesthetic rejuvenation. One of the most popular corresponding treatments is Renuvion. By combining radiofrequency energy with ionized helium, Renuvion uses a specialized technology to reconstruct collagen and tighten the skin. This procedure produces both instant improvements and long-term results that complement the evolving aesthetic benefits of alloClae.

Be sure to discuss options that best align with your treatment goals during your personal consultation; you may benefit from incorporating other procedures as well.

Cost of alloClae in Pleasanton, Danville, and the San Francisco Bay Area

The cost of alloClae varies based on the size of the treatment area, personal goals, whether you include additional procedures, how many injections you receive, and more. Dr. Bachelor will provide a full cost breakdown during your consultation, and we offer various financing options to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

FAQ

What anesthesia options are available for this treatment?

The majority of alloClae sessions only require local anesthesia. This is one of the many benefits of alloClae; patients are often able to avoid general anesthesia. For patients undergoing more extensive contouring, light sedation may be available to ensure comfort.

Can I expect my alloClae results to feel natural?

Absolutely. Unlike synthetic fillers that may feel rigid or overly puffy, alloClae is an off-the-shelf injectable composed of donor fat tissue, allowing it to integrate perfectly with your own body. Once the healing process is complete, the treated area will feel soft and indistinguishable from the surrounding tissue.

How long do alloClae results last?

While individual biology and the specific treatment location play a role, the preserved extracellular matrix in alloClae encourages steady collagen production and tissue integration. Therefore, the results often remain visible for several years, typically outlasting standard synthetic alternatives.

How is alloClae different from a traditional fat transfer?

Unlike fat transfer, alloClae utilizes purified donor tissue, eliminating the need for liposuction and reducing operative and recovery time and certain risks. This makes it a great option for thinner patients who may not have sufficient excess body fat for a traditional transfer.

Will weight fluctuations affect my alloClae treatment results?

Because alloClae becomes part of your natural tissue, it reacts to weight changes much like your own fat cells. While minor fluctuations of less than 20 pounds typically have a negligible impact, Dr. Bachelor advises reaching a stable, sustainable target weight prior to your procedure and afterward to maximize the longevity of your results.

Can I combine alloClae with other treatments?

Absolutely. Many of our patients choose to pair alloClae with Renuvion for skin tightening or other non-surgical treatments to achieve a more comprehensive rejuvenation. Combining procedures can address both volume loss and skin laxity simultaneously, providing a more transformative yet natural result.

How many alloClae treatment sessions are necessary?

The number of sessions required varies depending on the individual’s goals and the target area. While many patients achieve their desired results in a single session, others may opt for a secondary “touch-up” session to fine-tune the volume and contour. Your personalized treatment plan will outline the recommended number of sessions to meet your expectations.
